Yep...Henry Ford in reverse....every colour but black !!

And interesting to read that the first car mass produced by
the Hyundai Motor Co. for their local market was the Ford Cortina....
back in 1968.

The one called Excel was my first Hyundai, but in the UK it was called an X2.  I had the 4 door saloon GSi version in silver and thought it was a great car, the ethos was the same as it is now, great specification for a reasonable price.
That car had Mitsubishi running gear, of course all Hy fans will know that the Accent was the first all Hyundai designed and manufactured model (for the UK market at least).  I went straight from my X2 to an Accent GSi which was almost British Racing Green

Was that the hatchback, there seemed to be a mix for the UK market because the Excel hatch was sold in the UK as Pony but the top spec GSi model was called X2 and only had Pony in tiny letters under the X2 badge.

Mine was the saloon,  cira 1988'ish, badged as the PONY not the X2 which was a later model.

My Cortina had done 100,000 miles and cost me A$850 ... was a nice enough car to drive (only let me down once .. sticky radiator thermostat)

Only Ford I have had out of 24+ cars..

British Ford Dazz, i had an Escort or two escorts one 1.6 one 2Lt, the 2L went well just both leaked oil only Ford's i owned that ever leaked oil.
my Holdens leaked oil too i think the Vaxall badge the holden use cause oil leaks.
i also owned a Mark X Jag was about 59 vintage? 4 speed wind back sunroof crash box ( no syncro ) tough car! ran out of brakes.
