He seemed a little suspicious to me, but my dad and mate of his said he was fine. It has a five year warranty, and no issues with the background check so hopefully there's no underlying problem where the car will explode once I take a seat in it..

I guess if there was anything dodgy about it he'd want to finalise the deal immediately, so it should be all good.
@ Pantries, Congrats .. Just make sure all documentation, receipts and ownership papers are in order at "settlement".

Congratulations! You have put in a big effort to get it!! Enjoy !!
Picked up the car today, really awesome interior and exterior, really enjoy driving it too. The contract that he signed says he paid $38,000 for it. Insane..
All petrols can be mixed. There have been vsrying reports ranging from, no difference, to lower l/100k values using premium (but premium costs more to buy). IMO, standard fuel should be good enough. E10 doesn't give the same l/100 as it has a lower calorific energy value / litre, however, the promotional brochure says that due to increased oxygen, it burns cleaner and of course is somewhat renewable. I use it in my Commodore, no probs.
