i remember in the mid 70s the old man would park his car [gt falcon] in the drive overnight with the keys still in it,the house and garage were never locked either.  :snigger:

It was only about 10-15 years ago we had to start locking our house up,up here when we went away for the weekend

Our bread was delivered by horse & cart. Early Holden's had a Key & lock position, but you could leave them on off position and take the key out.

We had "Biggles"
"Hop Harrigan"
"The Loooone Ranger"
"Dad and Dave"
and most importantly,

"Greenbottle"  Which has had a mention on here before. Also known as "Yes What?" thanks to the tag line which finished every show (IIRC).

The Three Stooges, Tombstone Territory, The Bugs Bunny Show and Wagon Wheel biscuits were the right size and only sixpence.

More likely Rick has a bigger mouth.

But yes, it's disappointing that generations will never know how big a REAL wagon wheel used to be.

When you could drive down a road and not worry about being clocked over the speed limit.

Or
Driving with go faster strips and you felt the car was doing the ton but only doing 50 mph
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if
