Hi am expecting my new car to arrive very soon. Would like to get a workshop manual. Also hints on if I should put car seat covers on even when the interior has been treated.

We will be getting the protection pack, paint and interior protection, tinted windows and rust proof.

Reading some of the feedbacks on these sites was thinking of putting off for abit. One person said their new car went up in smoke!

Should I wait awhile or was this just a very unlucky new owner?

Don't bother with the paint/fabric protection. It's a waste of money. I'm sure
most people on here will agree that new vehicles don't need it. You can do it yourself
for a lot cheaper. All they basically do is wax your car, armour-all your interior and
spray scotch guard on the fabric.

Yes, I'm with Dave... if you haven't commited to the paint & interior protection (and rust proofing) don't do it not necessary. It's just cream on the cake for the dealer.

Car went up in smoke.. Haven't heard that one... (Burnt a couple of people off at the lights maybe...)

Welcome to the club, tricia_b1

The smoke thing was a member of another Hy forum who reported his i30 engine blew just after he picked it up, or something like that. He only ever posted that info and, despite being asked for updates from our members, declined to give that info.
