Canadian Elantra Touring going euro?

Hey all, I'm in the process of turning my blue '09 elantra touring sport a little more euro.  For fun, I've picked up the i30 CW trunk badge and am researching the (side) skirts I've seen on some models across the pond that aren't available in north america.

Has anyone undertaken similar aesthetic mods here in Canada/US ?  Are there good EU dealers / suppliers who will ship over here without breaking the bank?

Welcome Mr Bradley...Don't think there are a lot of side skirt kits available for the old shape, but you might be lucky. :goodluck:

MS make few models
They were very proactive to shipping to an australian guy in the board so i'm sure Canada would not be an issue.
I had a body kit for another car shipped from finland to montreal 10 years ago by boat, costed something like 300$ in shipping
But it was the only example in north america (might stilll be) and was well worth the price

Hey there,

I am on the same quest as you are. I am searching for venues to get the M&S kit for my CW. I am sure it is by far the best fitting kit since it was sold at dealerships.

Koreanautoimports.com has body kits for our cars, but all the kits seem to be for the hatch back and not the wagon.

I did some searching on here and a lot of discussion about the M&S kit seemed to stop years ago. If you find someone to sell it please let me know!!

I've never used this site before. Can you give me some details on it?

I'm afraid not, I've never used it either.  Looks like the minimum order is 5 units though.

Have you tried contacting M&S directly?

I contacted MS over twelve months ago in relation to their kits and found them very friendly and helpful.
They were, at that time, willing to ship one only kit to Australia.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a front lip from kdm-motors.com

They seem to have a good reputation online and answered all my emails very quickly.

I had them cut the lip in half to save on shipping. Fixing fiberglass is not hard if you take your time. Shipping went from 220 dollars to 90 dollars. I ended up going with a Zest front lip for 150 bucks plus the 90 shipping.

I will keep you updated. They also have the M&S front lip.

Thanks Dazzler. I have been modifying cars for a decade now and this is the first car I have owned that was such a hassle to get parts for. However, I have yet to see another modified Touring. I guess it has its advantages.

I did indeed receive my front lip.

I had them cut it in half to save a lot of money on shipping.

I am dropping my car off Monday to have the lip molded onto the front bumper. Good looking piece, shipping was packaged well.

I will be ordering my side skirts from them in the future.
