I got £4500
The passenger side lower front windscreen was cracked, the drop links were noisy and the TPMS batteries are sure to start expiring sooner rather than later.
Yes the miles are genuine Steve.

I'd offer £5500 max with a years warranty after they fixed the known faults.

He wants to know what he should offer for it so I briefed him on the known issues so he will be well armed to barter if he pops over to view it!

A potential buyer would not be aware of faults, save screen which you can see.

But wonder whether they will or have fixed faults.

May do screen as you see it but others....... i doubt.

Yup.
That's the risk a used car dealer takes buying at auction (where it went)
And the liability falls onto the seller with the buyer mindful of Caveat Emptor.
Still, an i30 Owners Club member would have the advantage of knowing all about these shortcomings to use as a barter tool or to get them fixed before handing over their money!

I bought it used 1 owner Lester, £9500, with 6k miles on it and 2 years old.

It was a very good car.

Standard alloys, I just removed and painted the plastic inserts which I think give a very nice look.
