There is a small park not far from where I live called Fellmonger Park. I pass it every day and often wondered who "Fellmonger" was, so I Googled it, thinking it may be some ancient local who lived in the district and had had a park named after him.

To my surprise, I found out that a fellmonger was a hide tanner or someone who removes the wool from sheep hides prior to tanning.

I don't think there would be too many fellmongers left these says and I started wondering how many other professions have faded into oblivion with the passage of time.

Can you think if any others?

The Only one so far that I can think is still not around is the service station attendant and Rabbit processors,Steve rag and bone men are now known as Pickers,prostitutes are still around if you know where to look, Fell Mongering is still alive and well,just not as labor intensive as it used to be and yes The Ol Chimney Sweeps are still out there,not a job I'd do not these days.

There is one service station that I know of in Brisbane that has driveway attendants who will fill your car and do  tyres and windscreen. It's in Dutton Park.

Skun and Gutted Rabbits,always had a hand in processing the skins as well,used to be a good living,when the brother and I were younger(lots younger)and rabbits weren't infected with Mixie, We used to spend a weekend up Talend Bend way,get a fair few rabbits,dress em and sell em down the local $2 a pair.

Oh and yes there are still limited numbers of Meat rabbit farms around,not many now days

R&B men used to call round the streets using a horse & cart, in the 1960's, around my parents home. Don't see them at all these days.

Not here in the UK tho... That responsibility has been delegated (jiffed) on to Community Service Officers... So I'm right

Basically, Butchers of Rabbits, which were then supplied to supermarkets in SA as a human consumption food item. The release of the Calicivirus wiped out the rabbits and the industry overnight.
