 Double yellow lines which are claimed to be the shortest in Britain have appeared on two street corners in Kingston upon Thames.

The curved lines, which are barely the width of a tyre, have been painted on two corners of a lane in the town centre, leading us to wonder whether there are some very small cars in the vicinity or just some very jobsworthy town planners.
