Home security is an issue for all of us, but now a new connected device monitors your home and can even inform you who is at your front door.

Described as “an intelligent doorbell with facial recognition”, Chui is a small wi-fi-enabled box with a built-in camera which can be fixed anywhere in the house.

If you place it next to your front door, it can even replace your existing doorbell.

What’s really clever about Chui is that it can automatically detect faces. The team behind it claims its facial recognition system is 99.6% accurate, so it will let you know exactly who is at your front door.
