A bizzare query for you all  I like playing my CDs loud in my i30 but I am wondering how much the speakers can take. Been playing "Beat it" at volume 20 today and it sounds great. But a lot of volume numbers to ........  Any thoughts on what it can take? I have the bass set at max of course. And of course I am thoughtful and do not annoy my neighbours!!!

I played Drum 'n Base with volume max. Not a nice sound but funny I don't think they wel be damaged as there normally should be safety

hey! i used to always drive my i30 speakers on max with bass on max before. but now i've thrown in a JL sub but have dropped the bass to 2. still run all the speakers on full volume for like 2 years and still haven't ran into any burning smells or faulty speakers.

My bass level is on about 75%. The maximum volume level I listen to never usually exceeds 6, it usually hangs about 4-5.

I spent too much time as a youngster in mosh pits so now my ears have no response above 12K and my knees are getting arthritic...

thing is that bezy has the amplified speakers in his SR...at first i was like....woah! only 4? then i remembered about the amplified speakers...being a trance/RnB dj i tend to like my mids and low freqs so thats why i like it up louder..

Heh, mid and bass on mine set to -8. And I just have the SLX model.

Seriously, it's too much set near 0!!!
