So, a component critical to the safety of the car, has perished. And that doesn't warrant urgent investigation by the dealer?Hmm..
^--- no advisories whatsoever.
Hey guys, sorry for the thread digging!Earlier today when I dropped my i30 CW at the dealer for a checkup they told me that there is an advisory out (Code 40CC04) to replace the brake lines at the exit of the brake pump. They had already ordered the new parts in advance knowing that the car would be there and will perform the intervention. They told me the current brake lines didn't had the desired durability, I dunno if it is related to OP problem?
Yes the fix is replacement hoses, as it seems with most recalls they are done when the car goes in for service or other repair
