hey all
just chasing the service interval for an i30 crdi 2007. its got 125000kms on it atm and i have been doing it every 15,000kms as that's what the book was saying. i have been doing the oil and filter every 15000 and the fuel filter every 30000. as they're only a couple bucks and 10 mins work to do. i was more interested in if there is anything else that needs doing - replacing. i have heard that some of the new crdi cars need injector lines replaced at a certain interval. also i know that i need to flush my clutch, but i think i may have a leak in my slave cylinder as i am starting to loose fluid slowly. and its getting very dirty. which is what happened in my other car.

so will be checking that tomorrow afternoon after work, again that shouldn't be to hard to do, I'd do the master and slave at the same time.

so yeah if there is anything else that needs doing around this time let me know. I'll also flush the brake fluid when the service comes around. i would like to do the gearbox oil to. even though its meant to be a life time oil. but the car is 7 years old now and oil simply doesn't last that long. and i don't want it shitting a syncro, its gotta last another 5 years yet lol

I think you have it mostly covered except for coolant.

I actually do my oil and oil filter every 7,500 just personal preference, they do say you should change you serpentine belt and idler pulleys at 120.000 whether they show signs of wear or not.both mine have done just over 105,000,on my last service they picked up two of the idlers re rumbling,so time to change them now.

Coolant is done every 60.000 and supposedly the brake and clutch fluid should be done at 30.000 intervals,I actually have mine tested each service and only replaced when required or requested

in my book for my 2011, I remember it says coolant is replaced at 120,000km's (the first change), but not sure what intervals afterwards, whether 45,000/3yr or 60,000/4yr.

That would be correct as I'm guessing yours would be a MY12. You can tell by looking at your VIN, the 8th last digit should be a C. The schedules changed from MY12 and on.
