I love my diesel and have no regrets. I get the impression most of us with diesels feel the same but interested to see the results (feel free to post a comment to justify your vote)

I've had diesel before, back in the 80s. While I enjoyed driving them (living in a remote area of Central Australia at the time), there is such a marked improvement in the newer diesels that their is no comparison really. Compared to the improvement in petrol engines over this time, the diesels have improved beyond comparison.

Go the diesels of today - "Absolutely marvelous!"

The new direct injection... common rail turbo diesels are amazing..

Even though I've only had mine for 28 hours so far, I've loved every second while driving. So maybe my vote isn't really valid cause I'm obviously still in the honeymoon phase.

I missed the poll too, but I will only buy diesels from now on. probably always Hyundai's.
Of all the Turbo Diesels I drove this one is, BY A LONG WAY, the best one.
I don't know what they do... but it's right, whatever it is.

Far far better than the Ford / Peugeot engine. (My opinion only, obviously)
Much less agricultural than the VeeDub and Renault's.
I hear it is also better than the Mazda offering.
