There's been considerable discussion over the last year or so regarding a possible involvement by Penske racing in Australian V8 Supercars (most likely through the Dick Johnson Racing team). Aussie NASCAR racer, Marcos Ambrose has been touted as returning home to reprise his V8 Supercar career.

I have been watching this with interest (I am a big Ambrose fan) I personally hope he stays in Nascar.. He is doing pretty well really for a Tassie boy..

Like Dazz, I'm an Ambrose fan (my son has a model NASCAR signed by him).  I hope he stays with NASCAR and eventually gets a win on an oval circuit.  If he does that this year then he may just make "The Chase" (which is the finals for NASCAR).  He is currently sitting 16th in the Championship after a very exciting 2nd at Watkins Glen.
