Took my i30 for its 15,000km service a few days ago. Quite impressed with the dealer service (I took to my local garage for the optional 7500km service).
Mentioned two issues. First the drivers seatbelt was sometimes a bit hard to unbuckle and second a few weeks ago the chrome trim strip under the passenger side rear quarter window fell off when I was washing the car. Showed them the chrome strip. A phone call 45 minutes after I left the car informed me that they were replacing the seatbelt under warranty. Good. Then they stated that under warranty they would replace the whole rear quarter window as the chrome strip is integral to the windows. What the??? Had just assumed they would have stuck it back on.
So just waiting for the ordered window to arrive.
Has any one else had a warranty claim like this??
