On my i30, my side lights are just the standard globes instead of the LED strip lights other models have, I think they look really smart. I've recently seen a set on eBay (although can't find them now) for $20-ish. Wondering if anyone has fitted them or something similar?

Sounds like you are talking about DRLs (daylight running lights) which don't actually replace the "sidelights"
