Just a couple of photos of my car.
Gear knob purchased for around $22 on ebay.. came from the UK.
Interior trim was about $15 for 4 metres I think...

Lol @ big knob...

I didn't want to go overboard with red accents inside...
I tried to put that red trim around the Automatic shifter selection area.. couldn't squeeze it in all the way around... It doesn't bend to well so I didn't put it around the radio / air conditioning area of the dashboard...

Can start to look a bit overboad if you do to much is my thought..

Have you tried heating the trim up to make it more flexible it might give a little more

I like the trim a lot
lighten's up the interior.
How do you make it stick on the door panel, you just push and squeeze up until it stays in place?

Very nice work!!  :goodjob2:  I'm just about to change my automatic gear knob too. Would you tell me what size do i have to look for, or all the knobs should fit?

It comes with a small width roll of double sided tape..
the trim is kind of shaped like a letter T so you put the tape on the bit of the trim that you want to push into the gap and (most) of it stays...

I think most aftermarket knobs come with a couple of plastic sleeves that you put in the knob and over the stick ...
I bought mine through ebay, it came from the UK. So have a look at a few and you'll see the sleeves... they come with a few grub screws and allen key to fit it.
I actually fitted it. Making sure the grub screws made a mark on the plastic sleeve, then removed it.. and drilled holes through the sleeve where the grub screws made the marks... got longer grub screws so the lock onto the gearstick shaft.... much more stable fitment...
Takes time but I prefer it this way.

The trim is plenty flexible. it's the gap around shifter area that wont allow anything to squeeze into it...
