Haven't quite hit the 1,000kms yet (sitting on ~976km currently) and figured that I might as well call up and get Sheldon booked in. Wasn't expecting to be told that it could be done next day, but what the heck.

He's come back with a clean bill of health and apparently I'll get a 'complimentary' car wash and vacuum with each service. So he's not looking so rain splattered now, but it's not the world's best wash job (who wouldn't clean the emblem on the rear of the car?), however the vacuum has made the insides look quite tidy and I can put in the new mats my mother gifted me with on Monday!

Now, given that the majority of my driving is going to be to and from work (~7-15 mins) and a 90 min trip to Sydney every once in a while, is there any reason for me looking at doing oil changes at the 7,500km/6 month intervals or should I just stick with the 15,000km/12 month intervals?

Hi Hayseed,

I get mine done only every 15K but I do a lot of 50Km + trips (I would probably get mine done every 7,500 if only doing 15K per year instead of 30....
