you could be right there, Craig.....just look at the build up where the nuts are......
Mind you, the wheels on Trish's tourer which are similar get a lot of brake dust on them too (more than any other car I can remember - and I've had a lot!)

Not half...Chamois in one hand and Pint in another..... no way
Why couldn't they have put a weight fixing rim on the inside of the wheel, or at least somewhere the weights wouldn't be seen? It's madness that they seem to have designed the wheel to take weights like that.I think I'm one of the only people in the world that thinks steel wheels + plastic covers are better.
Question: what do you folks think of buying ex-hire cars? A LOT of i30s are ex rentals from the big names. Under a year old with around 10k mileage. I've dropped the idea of buying an Auris, I just can't ignore that feeling of love at first sight with the i30
I personally would not but again I might if price was right....given there is still 4 years warranty or it might not be 4 years....You would have to find out if the warranty would still be valid for the remaining period and whether it would be classed as a business or private warranty. Also, besides not knowing how it has been driven and whether it has damage. You can see the body work but not the underneath. If you did find one it will be worth paying for inspection by RAC or AA or independant motor inspector.
Thanks folks, I actually came across a couple on Hyundai forecourts and they were priced exactly the same as privately owned vehicles. Only the car supermarkets discount them to reflect their history. Advertised as "one owner" I only found out when I asked to see the V5... and realised "EVRS Ltd." was Enterprise. The inspection sounds like a great idea so I'll look into that. Looks like the comprehensive inspection is £150ish but it's very thorough and is nothing on the cost of a vehicle.
