Hi Guys

I recommend for a polish to keep your i30 looking good is the Meguiars NXT Techwax 2.0. This liquid wax doesn't cut & will keep your i30 with that new car look. A bit pricey at $63AUD but hey, our i30s are worth it eh? However I do strongly suggest using in a well ventilated area as the box suggests otherwise you'll get high on this stuff :whistler:

Just thought I'd drop in this suggestion as there are a zillion product variations out there ^& can be confusing as to what to get sometimes.

You're getting ripped off if that's what you are paying for Meguiars NXT Techwax 2.0  $49.50 is the retail price of that stuff :link: Meguiar's - POLISH & PROTECT

Personally I prefer the Ultimate Liquid Wax, even easier to apply and remove with a better and longer lasting finish ( and it does'nt leave residue marks on the black plastics :) )

I just got it at my local Repco in Cooma. I guess they are overpriced. I may try that Ultimate wax. I had been using a liquid wax from Germany called "Synpol" but its shine only seemed to last a few days before starting to dull. Doesn't help that I need to wash my i30 everyday due to road grime.

I found the NXT easy to rub in. I used two cloths, one to apply & one to buff.

Repco are usually always overpriced, I went by there the other day to enquire about some Castrol dex111 auto trans fliud...they wanted $50 :faint: it was $30 next door at SuperCheap :goodjob2:

You'll love the Ultimate Wax, I only re-wax mine every 4-6 months and wash fortnightly with Ultimate Wash n Wax :link: Meguiar's - ULTIMATE WASH N WAX which helps boost and maintain the wax level/protection.

Hello guys which one do you think is better for the maguiars wax the paste or the liquid one plz

CraigB
Being that we have been discussing liquid wax in this topic that should give some hint as to what we think is better :whistler:

Paste is good but it's old school, much harder to work with and with the added compounds in liquid it'll last longer between applications.

It looks to be the right one but would be nice if they confirmed the size of the bottle. Assume it is 18oz or 532 Ml?

If you read through this topic that question has already been answered, the better product is also more expensive.

Craig is more car proud than me (I'm no expert) If Craig says it's better, I'm sure it is!  :goodjob:
