Can anyone confirm if this has been resolved on the i30?Thanks.
Thanks for the reply all.I have just finished on the phone with my dealer and they have confirmed they have replicated the fault. They had a Kia Carens (same engine) in a few weeks ago with the same issue, and they replaced the EGR and cleaned the surrounding parts. They have informed me the new EGR valve should be in stock within 24 hours and once it’s in they will fit it, the car will also need the DPF regenerated.I will report on the status of the car once the work has been done.
Is this hesitancy problem present with every 2.0 CRDi? Or just unlucky ones? i think i have youngest 2.0 (2010) here on the forum so should i bother or not to ask dealership to check this out?I'm still very much new to driving a diesel so i can easily mistake that hesitancy with turbo lag...
