That article says that VW sales in the US have gone up since the news about NOx emmisions. 

I saw something earlier about Porsche 3 litre engines having some problems as well. I think the new VAG boss is from Porsche.

Yeah - looks like it is a seasonal sales increase though.  VW has gone up 0.24% while some other makers sales went up by amounts around the 15% mark - i.e. 60 times greater than VW, percentage comparison wise.
