Hi all

I bought a 1.6 12 plate i30 in July 2015. Now that dark nights are here i find myself using the lights a lot. When i turn the front headlights on the the LED lights (by the floodlights) go off....

Is there a way that i can turn the lights on and that it would keep the LED lights on at the same time?

I fail to remember (or understand) the UK reg system, so I don't know what modelyear a 12 plate is.

The topic has been discussed before and I think the outcome was that that's just the way it is...

12 plate is 1st march 2012 to 31st august 2012

We sure have had this discussion before and I'm fairly certain the law dictates that the DRLs extinguish when the headlights are turned on.

There wouldn't be much point in the DRL's staying on at night, they don't throw light forward at a set distance to give any benefit over the standard headlights.
