I might aswell chip in with a related question.
Do you get warning in your dashboard when low beam bulbs burn out?
I just drove 300km in daylight to a concert, when leaving I thought the road looked much darker than it should. Pulled over to find both my low beams had blown, but no warning in the dash to allude that so was the case, seeing as the lows are the second most important lights(second maybe to brake lights) on the car, it ought to have a warning eh?
No great harm done, I always carry a spare package of H7 in the trunk, and yes, they are just as easy to replace roadside in pitch darkness(typical I was driving home during the 3 hours of darkness we have this time of year), so anyone with fingers ought to be able to pull it off in daylight.
