this was the lovely gutter scrape i did back in december to the front left wheel.

i did the same thing on the front left rim, im still greaving.  wow smileys are back.  but wont work for me.

:) What can you do, it happens, but I think you could fix it. My friend scratched his alloy wheel much worse but managed to get it fixed. It was actually that good, that you could never tell it was scratched.

i'm not too concerned about fixing it. its surprisingly hard to see most of the time, you do need to look for it. as i'm more likely to do it again i've decided to just let it go until i some beauty of a scrape

i'm not too concerned about fixing it. its surprisingly hard to see most of the time, you do need to look for it. as i'm more likely to do it again i've decided to just let it go until i some beauty of a scrape

Sure as eggs you get it sorted you'll do it again.. eventually (no matter how careful you are) you will always end up with a blemish somewhere ...

When changing the tires, buy the ones that have "protection" for rims (protection edge is how we call it over here, probably similar in Aus). It saved my alloys from getting scratched at least twice on previous car.
