Just spent $400 repairing the Drivers side window mechanism that fell apart, only to now to have the passenger side window collapse as well. Rang Hyundai Service Centre to check on the fault only to be told its an age and weather problem. What??????? N
ever before has this happened to ANY car I have had. One window I can swallow but two? This is an obvious fault in the 2008 model as I believe they have now changed the design. Its a poor reflection of Customer Service to immediately blame the weather for the fault. Poor show Hyundai!

Sorry to hear that. Seems strange and very unlucky to have 2 go. Not something that had been reported often on here. Sorry I nearly forgot my manners :welcum: :winker:

BTW. We are just independent owners like yourself, not Hyundai representatives.

Hi shelleybermin

 :wttc:

I think you'll only find a few member reporting the window mechanism fail, so claiming it to be an obvious fault on the 2008 model isn't correct.
Having said that, I understand you're not happy with the situation but I'm surprised you expect Hyundai to cover the repair on a 8-9 y/o car.
