Angoraki calling...

Hi all,
Newbie to the forum - just found it!
I ordered an I30 Premium on 25th. October. It was a cancelled order and should have been available from the dealer's other site. However told a few days later that it was still at Tillbury and would take "up to 2 weeks".
Phoned this week (my sales guy is on holiday). He checked and said - "we are looking at February". Not a happy bunny was I. Was passed to sales manager who managed to talk to someone in high places and apparently my car will be here in 7-10 days. Great, but the salesman was aware we were moving north on 26th. November, so now will have a 450 mile round trip if it doesn't arrive in time. As another contributor mentioned - after having words with the salesman, will expect some extras!

Not surprised you weren't "a happy bunny" - a cancelled order should be with you much sooner than that - great to see it's less than 2 weeks. The Premium model is fantastic

Where you moving North to? I presume you're in West Sussex at the mo...

Cheshire is just south of where I live. Lovely place to move to.

Anyway if you have to do the round trip you'll have a great ride back in the new car and you'll appreciate all the i30 has to give.

Taken possession of the car on Thursday, so luckily didn't have to make the round trip. Still working out where everything is, but on the first run - 235 miles - was very comfortable, and gave the car a good first outing. Will probably get a few miles in over the coming weeks as I try to find my way round the new area.
