Had the car serviced at Rockingham Hyundai this morning and as the title states I cant praise them enough, after arrival they did all the necessary note checks and took my keys then a very fit looking secretary made me a lovely coffee which I appreciated as it was bloody cold down there early this morning  :cold:

Had a wonder around and looked at a new i30 SR a women had just purchased so I was standing close by listening to the dealer go through the handover, very nice car, I'm impressed more so now after getting a very close look at it and a lot of the details :goodjob2: the N series will be even better

Anyhoo! 3 hours pass by and my car is ready so we are going through what's been done as it was a major service requiring new fuel filter (back seat had to be removed) and brake flush, service was supposed to be $475 - $33 for supplying my own oil - $17 no fuel treatment required = $425 + $88 for the brake flush = $513...Mark (service guy) does some calculations and say's "how does $386.15 sound to you" and we'll throw in the brake flush for free  awesome I say's :happydance: and then to top it off Steve (parts manager) comes over and gives me one of their new Hyundai N series caps for nothing :happydance:

They sure know how to get me back for further services :D

Hi Craig,
Well done,  and you didn't even have to haggle.
Wish they were closer   :(

Yeah they've always been pretty good to me, Steve is usually able to give me trade or close too prices when I order bits and pieces through them, even the spare wheel I got of them after I sold my full set of factory alloys to Doggie, supposed to be $300 each and Steve asked how much I wanted to pay as they had surplus of wheels sitting around, I said I've got $80 cash in my pocket and he even put the wheel in the car :)

Only got two dealers close enough for me and I am not impressed with either one of them. Great if you can find a dealer like you have. Have thought many times of going to a non dealer but as far as I can tell none have got the diagnostic equipment that the dealers carry or would know about any notifications. I know dealers have to make a profit but I do hate it when they try to get you to buy unnecessary items. Trust is all I ask for. Sounds like your dealer is doing the right thing. :goodjob2:

It's got the "N" logo at the back which is N division so I assumed it was a reasonably new one :undecided:, I could of had the other styled one with Motorsport written across the front but like this one better :)
