"The channel 5 movie is sponsored by Hyundai i30".

That's my car dudes, stop using it in the adverts and send it to me

Oh, for those who care () the movie "RV runaway vacation" Staring Robin Williams. I never heard of it, and being a few minutes in I can see why. Probably didn't fare well on Oscar nominations.

Still no update.

However I feel better because I've been driving about in a 1.6L Ford Focus Zetec Petrol today. I had seriously considered the Diesel version of this when I "ordered" the i30.

Really glad I didnt buy the Focus, its seems plasticy and really noisy. I have to rev the guts out of it to make it move. The brakes feel over-servo'd and yet spongy too.  It has 11K on the clock, 6-12 months old ish.

To be fair, I though the driver's seat very comfortable, and the steering wheel was spot on for size and found it easy to adjust to exactly where I wanted it (always had an issue with my old car).

I hope I still like the i30 if when it turns up.

Today I've been told my car will turn up at the delaer sometime next week

I have also been driving a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Petrol the top model with the fake walnut dash (last model, not the very new one). It was much quieter than the focus, but my god are the seats hard!

I think, of all our members' i30s, that yours is the one I want to see the most... eighteen weeks would crucify me

To be fair, I was quite ill for a month of it, and just having something to take my mind off things helped.

The pictures will I'm sure be a disappointment, as it will just look like another i30 (not that that's bad). I saw a pic of another members i30 on his thread today (sorry forgot who you were!) but that looked a bit special in blue because it has the silver grills. Mine will just be boring black grill.

But it will be your I30 and the silver grill still looks better on a red car as you can see here

LOL. It looks good too

I'm half expecting mine to be a screw up, as the VIN says its a 2010 model year, and there is no Style version for 2010. I'm expecting them to attempt to hand me a 2010 comfort (which is similar to a 2009 Style, but doesn't have the half leather and a few other details) and expect me not to notice. So I'm not really looking forward to collecting it much. I will of course check it out before I actually collect it, assuming they sit it somewhere I can see it
