Just picked up my nice new shiny i30 ES  :cool:

Took 16 weeks, just avoiding the scrappage scheme deadline.  I have taken the day off work and going to spend most of it learning the gadgets  :lol:

And i want the black surrounded headlights for mine... They look heaps better than the chrome.

IMCRZY, you'll have to move to Europe to get the black headlights as standard, they are the ones which come from the Czech factory.

Red is nice too (diplomatic answer, deftly avoids sparking the first i30 Owners Club colour riot) but liked blue better. Think the silver ES grille looks cracking.  Got to get used to it now,  currently feels like I'm driving a hire car :D

those black style headlights are new in the U.K to the 2009 model. that is one of the main differances between then 08 and 09 model on the outside.. Inside, for some reason, the removed the wee cuby on the dash

btw. car looks awesome in the blue :D E.S was such a gd deal they had. climatic control. upgraded 16" alloys and parking sensors. for a few hundred more :D

i really like the silver grilles :razz:,wouldn't look to good on a white car though :rolleyes:
  • 2009 manual sx hatch and 2009 automatic sx cw. both 2.0 petrol.
