I go kite flying, attached is a still taken from my small video camera that is fixed to my line just below the kite. It takes video or still pictures that downloads easy onto a computer.

That's pretty awesome!

I bought a cheap drone a couple of years ago with a basic camera accessory included. I sold it recently cheap  in a garage sale without ever taking any arial photos, because I had enough trouble getting it airborne let alone being able to press the right combo of buttons to take a photo at the same time!

Hope I live long enough to eventually justify getting a dearer one with a gyroscope and a remote monitor in the controller.

I know how you feel Dazzler asking a youngster to show you how to get it airborne. But they are the ones to keep you on track. They have grown up with computer games.

I like Kites & Sailing , good fun, you should go to Bondi Beach for festival of the wind it's all Kites all types . great atmosphere too.
most of the kites i see were i am are hooked up to surfboard riders, fantastic to watch!!
