A hot day in County Durham. Starting to melt.

Humidity not known except it was hot. Also got a loads of tar spots along the bottom spoiler on both sides and rear bumper and boot. They came of well with autoglym. Show up easy on a white car.

That's quite warm. I would start taking my jacket off at that stage :whistler:

Hottest I have experienced was 48 degrees a few years back. And the hottest whilst I had the i30 was 41:

Thankfully we are halfway into a very cold, dry winter so I have been relatively happy

That's hotter I had to go out in shorts and tee shirt. Don't know if I could manage your weather. Having said that we have had the last few years very little snow not like years ago. You enjoy it.

you need to know Humidity! like that's what makes it feel more or less comfortable.

If you want to experience humidity try cycling through the granite mountains in Trang Ahn, Vietnam.
Was 42 degrees and 100% humidity, nearly bloody killed me :sweating:

I lived in the Middle East for 12 years. The law was if the temperature went above 45 C workers had to be sent home. The temperature was determined by an official government thermometer.  Never once, in my 12 years, did the government's temperature reading reach 45 C - but at home and at work we saw temperatures as high as 49 C.  I never saw the magic 50 C reached but people reckon it had done in the past.

I used to remove my tie and roll my sleeves up when the temperature reached 40 C.  At 45 C I would take my socks off and wring them out.
