After reading a few posts on the search option I now believe that the horn behind the windscreen water top up is the alarm horn. Had a good look behind the bumper infront of the radiator and followed some wiring along. It then went into two covered in spaces so I take it the car horns are behind these n/s and o/s. Further looking is maybe called for. Soon be up to 100 ha ha.
Many thanks for replies. Fuse blows when horn button pressed. Take out relay press horn button fuse stays intact. Car booked in for service and mot 2 weeks on Monday. If I get new relay or the garage will sort out. Will keep you all up to date. Had great sunny week on the south coast. All ready to knock hell out of some golf balls to wind down.
Car went in today for service and mot. The fault was with the 2 horns both knackered causing short. Due to high cost of replacements from Hyundai another one fitted so back in business. Instead of the usual PARP PARP now got a toot toot. Very pleased. :
As the 2 horns are situated behind the grill so take all the crap thrown up.How old is car?
