Ok , Which is the most popular model choice. I am predicting Deisel Slx.

Please vote and than tell us why you picked that particular model and spec.
I gave an other option for our overseas members as there seems to be many different and wonderful option not offered in OZ.

I picked Deisel for its fuel economy and for the extra punch.
The SLX appealed as a package. I love the trip computer being a bit of a stats nut. I also prefer the leather steering wheel over the the rubber one offered on the SX. Having a young family, the added safety of the side and curtain airbags also appealed.

Cheers

Hi Eyma...

Much the same reasons as you... although subject to our budget think a few of us would have gone an SR if they came in diesel. (including you?)

Your right Dazz.

I would of gone SR if it had beens available in Deisel. I love the wheels on the SR and wouldnt of than gone and put after-market 18's on the SLX. Also like the body kit but might still put a kit on it at sometime down the track. The only other option i would have liked is full leather trim but neither the SR or SLX offered us that, At least not in this country....sigh :(

Hi Eyma,

I guessed as much... The leather cloth combo works o/k for Tassie (leather seats a bit cold in the winter down here) although they were o/k in my Late Stepdad's Saab Aero Turbo I recently sold (3 different heat settings..) I also like the SR mags a lot although the SLX mags suit the i30 quite well (I.M.O.)

Cheers,

Dazz

I picked diesel for the fuel economy and performance - and the reviews I read beforehand all praised the diesel.

Chose SLX for the extra 'bling' as I've seen it described elsewhere on this forum. Climate control, alloy wheels and a few other things.

Chose Protectz for the extra safety.

Hi Guys if Dave can tweak it when he gets time.. my suggestion would be to lump similar models in together (all premium 2.0 ltr petrol for example would include Aussie SR version)

Middle of the range Diesel 1.6 include SLX plus equivilent European model .. etc..

This way would almost be able to adapt the current list to suit!

You UK boys are making me feel a bit sick.

Heated seats

Full leather

Auto folding Mirrors

Parking sensors ect...ect...ect

I though by getting the SLX model here i was getting all the bells and whistles....WRONG. My car looks like a pov pack next to yours Shambles. Even the Kiwis get more options :!:

same as my Style but without the auto-folding door mirrors & Auto-up auto-down on all windows,
do you know how the Auto dip rear view mirror works, it's suppose to be on my Style but the rear view mirror looks just like a regular one.
