Hello folks!

Yet another Finn joining the forum. I've ordered my i30cw 1.6 CRDi Comfort on Nov 3rd, expecting to get it in January after 10 weeks of waiting.

My i30cw is going to be continental silver, added with automatic A/C, rain sensor, windscreen heating, electric engine and interior heaters, tow bar and extra wheels with winter tires.

I'm located in south-western Finland and drive around 34000 km annually.

I am downsizing from petrol Mazda6 '07 with all goodies after 100 000 km of excellent ride. Athough I am looking for savings in both driving and ownership costs with i30cw, I do not feel like "downgrading" - at the moment at least... the test drive was positive and convincing experience. I do have high expectations for my Hyundai to become a reliable companion for the next 100 000 km and even further.

The only thing that made me regret my deal a bit was this newsclip regarding a strike at Nosovice car factory:

I hope the people can get the situation sorted out.

Welcome saunaman

Don't speak ??? but I take it the narrative below is correct.
Hopefully this won't stop delivery of your car on the due date.

Thanks.

I certainly hope that my order is not delayed too much because of those problems at the factory. They have a new car finished every minute, so there will be lots of unhappy customers if the production stops. I am not a union man (quite the opposite, actually) but I can tolerate few days delay if that improves the conditions in the production.

Welcome and congrats on making a grest choice .. you won't be disappointed. First I think we've heard of that strike, explains why a few uk members had a bit of a delay in getting their vehicles. hopefully the strike is over now and things get back to normal...Factory looks pretty flash in the video... maybe the lunchroom is a bit squeezy  :D

Yep, Shambles and it is 1 sauna for 2.6 finns to be more accurate. Almost every home has a sauna, some have two. Companies have saunas in their premises. There are no summer cottages without sauna. There are mobile saunas on a trailer that you can take a sauna where there are no saunas (where's that?).

I have an electric sauna at my home and a bathtube at my backyard, which I do use at the wintertime also. I have also another sauna + small pond at our forest cottage.

Yes, sauna is a finnish thing.
