It was a pleasant but cloudy day yesterday and we decided to visit Charlecote Park for a good walk around the grounds and gardens. We have been there a couple of times before so didn’t go into the house. We strolled around the estate grounds for a couple of hours – it was very pleasant and so peaceful when the private planes from Wellesbourne airfield were not buzzing overhead.
Charlecote is located between Stratford Upon Avon and Wellesbourne which is a 20 mile drive from home.
Charlecote Park | National TrustThere were signs up warning people not to go near the deer because it is the rutting season. Which – to Libby’s chagrin - I ignored and got a couple of photos of them at rest.
The photos are panoramas taken with my Samsung A3 mobile in rather dull conditions. But not too bad nevertheless.
