I would like to meet your dealer! Was that a demo model? Or was the car available at the yard? That is a really good deal. You saved like $7k from RRP!

I suppose there is some pretty good deals out there at the moment due to the economic environment. I got it from Sydney City Hyundai and it was a brand new model and not a Demo. I nearly bought one of two other Demo's thought. A white one for $24,990 with 4,000km and a vivid blue one with 1,900km for $25,837, both were drive away prices and petrol automatic models and the blue one had tinted windows and car mats. However I stumbled across the one I ended up getting at the last moment advertised at $25,490 and I put a deposit on it straight away, I didn't bother haggling with it at a good price from the start. The saving on the invoice says $6k something can't remember exactly.

I am a new member and new owner as of 28 November 2008! I paid $25,490 for a new SLX CRDi automatic model. Instead of a $1,000 Myer voucher the dealer gave me a cheque for $1,000 so I suppose you could say I paid $24,490. Not too bad of a deal I think. I only got a quarter of a tank of fuel unlike some of the other deals. Does anyone know how much the genuine ipod media cable is?

The list price is $28,390 + on road costs.

I paid $26,000 on the road for
Diesel SLX silver manual 1.6ltr (85kw)
Included floor mats, two key fobs, full tank of fuel

Had i known about the ipod cable i would have screwed that into the deal aswell.

I did my deal today:

- iPod Cable
- "Premium Mats"
- Boot protector
- Lock Nuts
- Full tank of gas
- none of their stickers or number plate stupidity

Could probably have gone Bluetooth but really didn't want them stuffing around with the A-Pillar. Had it come with a factory BT option I would have taken it, although I don't use my phone much in the car Was also thinking of the bonnet and headlight protectors, but in the end didn't bother...

Bluetooth module on the sunvisor apparently works really well (a couple of brands available -search this forum)

I'm reckon headlight covers slightly reduce effectiveness of the headlights and bonnet protectors are a leaf catcher

Being a Driving Instructor, I got £3800 off my 1.6 Premium auto, plus £1000 from the Government Scrappage Scheme. So I paid £11500 incl. met. paint.
