Hey Babis,

There was an item on the news here tonight that you are having a heat wave in Greece. It even showed people walking around in their bathers and swimming.  Is it really that hot, or is it just an Indian Summer?

I feel for you all in the UK, I remember when I lived in Holland for few years, getting up an hour early just to defrost the car so you could drive it...

Love the pictures though, keep 'em coming if possible. :)

We're having south winds, carrying a heat wave from Sahara, along with a nice, red dust. Happens occasionally not to say too often late years.
Under 20oC a swim is still permissible, but i don't think that so many people are walking around with their bathers :D

-12C in Aberdeen last night, currently sitting at -7C.  Coldest place in the UK was Braemar at -20.4C, however coldest "unofficial" temp was -29 in a place called Auchterless

Don't you blokes in the old country still talk Farenheit or is it Celcius these days? I'm assuming you are making allowances for those of us whom have no idea what Farenheit is (was).

I speak both languages, along with L.S.D., pounds and ounces, miles, chains, feet and inches, furlongs and fathoms.

I even know what a cuboid is but I don't think you lot invented that one.

Some of the older folks still talk Farenheit (along with us scientists who are conversant in all temperature scales) but those of us born from 1970 onwards were all taught Centigrade or Celcius.

So last night in Aberdeenshire it was a fantastic 244 degrees Kelvin.   :sweating:
