A superb display. Looks like it's had a bit of the "Hemmi" touch (meguiars) :D

not too bad!, though i'm not sure the kit quite matches up - could be the colouring but i think its something with the step up towards the back. would love to see other colours and angles etc to have more opinion.

very nice overall  :)

My dealer has just called me to ask if I would be interested in one of these, they are about to release it in the UK, badged i20S, priced at £11,600.........

Might have to go and look.........

Before I bought my i30 I had intended to buy the i20, but wanted the 1.4 engine. Very long wait so no good for me. I then decided to try the i30 and wow, the ride difference was really so much better that I decided to buy the i30 on that alone.

What I do like about the i20 is that bonnet crease, makes it look better than the i30 in my opinion.

i20's are still pretty rare on the road over here.. I did see one yesterday which caught my eye though (I'm guessing it was a top of the range with alloys and such) looked pretty flash  :goodjob:

IMO, €13.270 is a lot of money for 1200cc. And it doesn't look like a limited edition should look like :-\

Thanks Brian are you considering going that way.. (2 doors a bit inconvenient wit the little one?)

Nicer looking in my opinion than the iX20 but not as practical of course..

Having driven the i20, i30 and ix20 it has to be said that the i20 was, in my opinion, the least engaging unfortunately.  I think I said when I had the loaner that the i20 would be a good second car but I would not want it to be my main drive.  Probably spoilt by the i30, however the salesman I was with yesterday had a couple out over the weekend in both the i20 and i30 and they went for the i30 for pretty much the same reason.  Even in basic 1.4 spec, the i30 is a bloody good car :goodjob: :goodjob:

Having said that, this might have been an option if it was available in 5 door guise, children and elderly relatives plus 3 door hatchback don't go together IMHO (and I am not keen on having to fold down seats just to get the golf clubs in the back

Well, an old school friend who I catch up with about once a year has just been visiting.  Last time I saw him he was in a bright red Mazda 3 MPS, 260BHP monster!
He turns up today driving the i20 Sport I pictured when I bought the ix20! :goodjob:

I guess your recent purchase of an iX20 might have influenced him somewhat...
