Downloading pictures to dvd in windows 10

I am having trouble downloading my recent holiday photos onto a dvd.  A search says put into the drive an empty dvd and follow instructions but nowhere does it give burn to disc. My burning prog. is Ashampoo 2016 this also will not pick up a link bye this I mean unable to enter selected pics to burn.  Help required please. Many thanks.

Thanks Alan, have tried this link but there is no way will the burn to disc appear. :crazy1:

Have you tried the old method, scroll to the bottom of your Start Menu and choose Windows Media Player/Pictures, that should give you the option to burn to disc.

Not sure why it wont show for you via Windows File Explorer though :confused: open your photos file - click the share tab at top left of file explorer and burn to disc should be displayed just below.

tried that on the pictures file with the share tab but only this comes up.

I think you've gone one step too far, just highlight the photos you want from Windows File Explorer (picture below) and burn to disc, if you happen to open the photos from explorer you'll then end up in the Windows Photos app where I think you might need to use the "Create" tab at top left :undecided:
