15 June 2018 - The Hyundai i30 Tourer wins the best Fuel Economy title at the twelfth annual Tow Car Awards founded by Practical Caravan, What Car? and The Camping and Caravanning Club.

After a series of gruelling tests, the Hyundai i30 Tourer - which is capable of towing up to 1,500kg - won over the judges for being the most economical of the cars tested and was highly praised for being a practical and stable tow car, too.

I assume the hatch would have similar attributes...

Probably not unfortunately which is a shame as would have made Trish's short list. Basically the same car as hatch for light towing purposes though.

I like the wagons for cruising. Don't mind the look of the i40 tourer either or the GD.

Yeah Trish's 2014 GD tourer still looks good and she likes the i40 as well. The PD wagon is less pleasing to the eye in my opinion but the extra boot space would appeal to trish after having 2 other i30 wagons.
