What happened to the bulb? :)

Few days ago, I noticed my left light doesn't "work" as good as my right one. So I said to my self, I'll check it out. Today, I managed to do so... This is what I've found..

I'm sure that this is a result of being held in someones fingers. The natural oil on your hands can affect the glass over time when it heats up.

Probably.. These bulbs are from Santa Fe, in which they were originally installed.. But the thing is, that we've put xenon lights in Santa Fe - our Hyundai dealer installed it and they naturally, took the "stock bulbs" out. Guess he must have held them in his hand for quite some time

I know I always make sure not to touch the glass..

Indeed, looks like a finger hotspot. nice example of why one shouldn't touch the little blighters.

At first I took the pics with my mobile phone, but then it looked kind of interesting and I "had to have some fun" with camera

Replaced both bulbs yesterday with new ones (Osram Silverstar) and they sure do produce more and whiter light than stock ones - of course they are not even close to xenon hid
