It would be nice to be able to mix the air in the upper vents.  I prefer to have cold (or at least cooler) air at face level.  Many cars have a simple manual knurled knob to achieve this.

If you turn the vents towards the "off" position, they come to a stop and you have to push harder to get them to shut completely. I find the first stop position great - just the right amount of air.

You must be careful; a few years ago I ended up with severe shoulder pain & unable to work properly for several weeks. Docs in UK had no ideas, then I met a 28 year old New Zealand Physiotherapist, he immediately asked "have you been driving around with air con blowing at your chest"? I said "Yes", he said "You've got a discal bar". It took 2 months doing no work at all, before the "balloon" pressing on my spine, subsided.

I'm tall (6'2" in the old money). But I have the seat right back and right down so I would suggest my head is about the same hight as yours. My wife is 5'4" and when she has the seat right for her her eyes are on about the same level as mine.
I can get the vent air down onto my chest area (never suffered a discal bar though.) The only references to it on Wiki relate to butterflies  :P

^ i have no idea what a discal bar is though
Discal bar: it can happen to stressed & tensed up long distance, truck drivers, hunched over the wheel with permanent A/C blowing around them. I had sat hunched & tensed up, fault finding in a Control Panel, with cold air conditioning blowing for several hours, then I drove back to the UK with A/C blowing for another 15 hours, shoulder muscles go into spasms, and can get "locked".

Somehow a disc in the spine becomes lopsided, balloons out one side and presses on some nerves, you cannot stand or sit straight, very painful, same side arm & hand gets "tingly" etc, until the "balloon" subsides naturally over several weeks.
