Mud flaps, mud flaps....  You're gonna drive through mud in your shiny new car, I don't think so.   Wife's got better things to do than clean the car everyday.   twice a weeks enough for now, she has to cook and clean in the house as well.  Don't want the lass overdoing things.   I've moved the coal bunker nearer the back door for her, I know, I am just such a thoughtful sorta guy

I think I'll just keep my mouth shut and not comment on this...

The 4th week of driving my new i30cw, already 2400 kms on the clock. Fuel consumption figures (actual) have dropped from 6.0 l/100km to 5.1 l/100km. The trip computer seems to be quite accurate, as the average consumption reading has matched to my actual fuel consumption.

Currently the reading on the trip computer is 4.9 l/100km, so we're going to right direction. The winter speed limits have been removed today, so one can legally drive approximately 20 km/h faster than in winter time. Expecting actually slight rise to the consumption numbers...

Towed my trailer for the first time today - the only thing that reminded me of towing something was my rearview mirror. The CRDi engine behaved very well, like there was no extra load attached to the towbar.
