I am due to collect my new i30 1.6 edition in the next week or so.  Since ordering it I see reports saying that the 1.4 is the better option...  Maybe I have dropped a clanger here, I hope not.

I'm sure the 1.6 petrol will be just fine. I don't recall any posts saying the 1.4 is better particularly.

I'm in Manchester too, and am also awaiting delivery of an i30 Edition! Mines a 1.6 diesel in Silver.

Which garage have you ordered from? I'm struggling to get my dealership to give me any specifics as to when it will arrive except for "in the next two weeks", which I first heard over 3 1/2 weeks ago!

I've ordered from Hyundai Manchester on Bury New Road. To be fair to them, they've been pretty good up to now.

If you email hyundai customer services they can find out exactly where it is, and were very helpful when mine was supposed to have been delivered but wasn't. They usually respond within 24 hours.
