Hi, I have a 2010 i30 Edition.
All is great, except the Stereo, which is really not what I want.
I want to upgrade to a 2 DIN Apple CarPlay stereo, but all the Fascia kits to replace the centre section of the dash only fit LHD cars.

Has anyone found a way around this ?

I have checked with manufacturers and retailers and I am told that they do not fit even though the dash looks symmetrical.

I don't see them mentioning LHD anywhere, being it's an Australian seller and all our vehicles are RHD I'd expect them to be as so.

The SKU code 11-141 implies an xtrons manufactured facia. When I enquired with a UK retailer I was told it would not fit properly as the tabs on the back of the rhd version of the i30 were different to the lhd ones and this fascia is for lhd cars. All the UK eBay links to these fascias DO say specifically for lhd cars, which is why I need to check.

I would love to have been misled on this and they fit.

Has anyone out there actually used one of these on a Rhd car and they have fitted great?

That would be a great steer and I would try one.

You can always contact the seller and ask specifically what they’re to suit, I’d be surprised if they weren’t for RHD.

OK, update.

Hyundai only have one part number for the original fascia for both Left and Right Hand Drive cars (847412R900XP for the record)

Carav, that manufacture the 11-141 aftermarket version, have replied to an email to say that theirs will NOT fit RHD cards because the arrangement of the clips does not go in a RHD dash.

They also said that they are aware that a number of people in Australia have made it fit.

$10,000 question - How ?
