All, some pics as promised.

I know I should have given the car a quick wash (the back is a bit dirty), but I've been too busy enjoying driving it lol...

Very nice mate. I have put an order down for a black edition. How long was your wait?

Thanks all, and thanks for the resize, whoever was kind enough to sort that out :-)

Orabas - My wait was pretty much two months exactly. When I ordered the car it was already en route to the UK (i.e. listed as "At sea" on the Hyundai delivery system). As far as I can tell it spent most of its time sitting at the Tilbury depot before it was sent to the dealers.

Well worth the wait though regardless of how frustrating it was!

I notice the CRDI badge is on the tailgate and not on the front wing.

Andy, quick question. Are the door handles on the edition black plastic?? Or are they metal?

my inside and outside handles sound like they are metallic when you tap on them, but I'm starting to wonder if that's true.

This is just the cheaper interior of the car, nothing unusual about that.

I think all the pull handles are plastic, even the chrome looking ones - someone's went wonky I recall (Dazz maybe).

Your right, the chrome "looking" handles are indeed plastic.

It would be strange if the edition model only had black plastic handles as it comes with sports petals and a chrome finish gear knob. To me though it looks like black plastic. I'm assuming the style models have this as well?

Yes it was mine Lorian (Excellent memory) the Plastic chrome finish has developed some wrinkles on the passenger side door -inside)

Yes they are black plastic.

I think the changes to the interior for 2010 are a design decision and not necessarily a cost cutting exercise. When looking at the interior in pictures I didn't like the look of it at first, but having lived with it for a while I think I prefer it to the chrome effect style. It looks quite executive, I think the chrome effect is a little tacky personally.

I'm sure you'll love the car, don't worry. I'm a pretty fussy guy and I'm delighted with it.

It feels like a much more expensive car than the amount you pay for it. I can't help but think I've grabbed a bargain :-) I'm sure you will too.

Hi Andy,

Just a thought about the dual exhaust, are they actually used or are they "just for show"?
