Hello,
This is really a question for information, which I acknowledge you guys may not be able to answer, but here goes....
We have a Citreon C2 about 09 plate.
The previous owner has fitted after market lights.
The main beam on one of them has stopped working.
The other lights all work
Checked the wires with a multi-meter, there is a voltage across them.
Swapped the bulbs round, they are ok.
In the faulty light the bulb does not sit securely into the unit. Haven’t worked out why.
The light went on intermittently flickering for a few days, and finally went out.
There is one wire connected to the bulb and another connected to the housing
I have two questions
1) when the doors open there is a voltage across the wires, but the lights don’t come on. I assume because there is another wire in play? Which leads me to ...
2) is there another wire that I’ve not checked?
I’m expecting the housing to be just a bulb holding mechanism and not involved with on / off, but I could be wrong.
Thanks, Jon

Don’t worry.
I think I’ve concluded there must be an on / off wire in there somewhere. Without that the behaviour we’re seeing doesn’t make sense. We’ll have to go on another hunting session.
