Advice please about door locks.

Today whilst at the garage filling up the door locks activated I unlocked them with remote but by the time I had pumped the diesel they had locked again. I again unlocked them but when returned to the car they had locked again. When I got home I stood outside the car for five minits but they did not lock.
I previously had trouble in the same area when the radio went dead.

Could there be some sort of radio interference in the area that affects the key remote.

Possibly for the first lock at the garage

If you unlock the i30 with your remote, but do not open any doors or the boot within 30 seconds it should automatically relock itself, the reason it did not lock when you got home was because you had exited the vehicle and did not lock then unlock again.

Some years ago i had a Ford Focus that had the immobiliser activated and the car would not start. I had to send for AA and they said it was some interferencee with key.
Waited half hour and it cleared. This was in the car park next to the same petrol station.
Another time same car same car park remote key would not unlock car but cleared in ten minits.
Nothing obvious around that could cause interference but it is under flight path for Stansted which is only about five miles away.

      Caloundra, Queensland.
Had it happen with my Commodore years ago in the car park at the Black Tower in Canberra.
Remote Central Locking wouldn;t work.
Fortunately the key started the car so the interference only seemd to have an effect outside the car.

In this case it appears to be just the auto relock but I believe on top of Mount Wellington near our capital city of Hobart that if you park near the big TV and radio towers your electronics can do some weird things

betsy seems to lock herself up if i unlock & do not open a door within around 20 seconds, she won't wait 30 seconds as i count to check.
