Tha Original i30 Owners Club

Do any European/UK owners have their i30 brochure from last year ?

Last year [at least in the UK] the sales brochure for the i30 showed the difference in emissions between the i30 CRDi with and without diesel particulate filter

I would be very keen to have this information so I know how much difference their is in diesel particulate matter with a DPF and without.

In NZ and Australia not DPF is fitted as Euro5 is not yet scheduled for regulation in light vehicles

I've got a PDF UK brochure date-stamped 30/04/09 but it doesn't show any comparison numbers.

FWIW: (particulates g/km)

EngineHatchEstate
1.6 Man (5)0.0120.019
1.6 Auto0.0160.016
2.0 Man (6)0.020NA

Thank you for the reply and the effort in finding your pdf/brochure. It is appreciated

Did it say if those figures were with or without a particulate filter

Interesting that the 1.6 manual hatch has less particulate than the 1.6 auto hatch but the oppersite for the estate ?!

Thank you for those figures. Do you know if that was with or without the particulate filter and was that for manual or automatic transmissions ?

Hi xlink_nz !
It is with particulate filter and there is no difference between manual and automatic transmission.

Irritatingly no, not a single mention of the filter throughout the whole thing. Even worse, I had a quick look at a 2010 brochure and it doesn't even list the particle emissions any more

Yeah, that had me wondering if it was a misprint or something, doesn't make any sense.
